-
I started with SWHS in 2000 as a front desk receptionist and fell in love with our mission, so when I finished school in 2003, I came back to work here as a physician assistant. I get great fulfillment from my work and am confident this is where I am meant to be. I am passionate about the care of our patients and the overall health of our community. I advocate for community health centers at the state and national levels. As Program Director, I am also responsible for ensuring SWHS provides care at the highest levels of safety and quality.

I grew up in Kansas but made North Carolina my home over 30 years ago. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, attending local festivals and events, home projects, and spending time with family and friends.
